The consortium was designed to ensure not only innovative solutions but also to guarantee the future commercial exploitation of its results. End users have been included (Portos dos Açores), as well as providers of environmental monitoring and management services (MONIPORT and David Mendes/AMBERJACK SOLUTIONS). Innovative dimensions are provided by INESC TEC (port management systems, AI, autonomous marine robotics), AIR CENTRE (strategic stakeholder engagement through a large collaboration network addressing space, ocean, climate, and data sciences) and Marco Tedesco (climate and data scientist). Business analysis is provided by IN+, an IST based institute, excelling in sustainable innovation and in merging science, technology and business into new business models.
